Ryan is a financial professional who joined Sustainable Capital Finance in early 2020 to assist with valuations and pricing and provide analytical support for various project finance and investment functions. Before SCF, Ryan worked as an analyst at a merchant bank and family office in San Francisco, where he was involved in large-scale philanthropic endeavors and impact investing, and also facilitated the investment of significant capital into various private equity transactions.
Ryan graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he spent time studying sustainability science and design, conservation, and political science. While in college, Ryan worked at a registered investment advisor (RIA), as well as the Center for Sustainable Development in Cape Eleuthera, Bahamas, where he implemented a comprehensive rainwater catchment system and assisted with various other sustainability projects. Ryan is motivated by using creative financial solutions with private and public capital to speed up the resource revolution towards a sustainable future.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys surfing up and down the Northern California coast, discovering music and concerts, and spending time outdoors.
